Helmet to helmet hit leads to rolling SU helmet and game dismissal for player

This clip is from 2012.

The player left the field and the game following this hit. His helmet left his head. But he was able to walk off the gridiron and went into the locker room.

Doesn't look good.

Annimated gif image of football tackle with helmet to helmet hit, Pitt runner and Cuse defensive back.

Does Friday night NCAA football diminish attendance at WPIAL football games?

There have been a few decent crowds at Friday night games at Cupples Stadium on the South Side in the City League too.

News coverage might also take a big hit so as to turn the spotlight away from the local scholastic games and cover Pitt instead.

It is good that Pitt isn't hosting Friday night games.
